PDP MUST SAY NO TO ‘RUGGEDITY’ AS A CRITERION FOR CHOOSING A CANDIDATE FOR THE EDO 2016 GUBER’ POLL
These are my questions for the PDP;
1.Is PDP looking for a candidate who will fight Oshiomhole or a candididate who will win them the elections?
2.Is PDP going to base their choice of candidacy on ‘ruggedity’ or integrity and credibility?
3. If the PDP base their choice candidate on ‘ruggedity’ during the primaries will the masses of Edo State vote for a rugged candidate or a candidate who will manage the state`s resources properly for their benefit?
It is lugubrious, it is sardonic, it is indecipherable, that even in this 21st Century some members of our mutual party the PDP, would be talking about ‘ruggedity’ as a criterion for choosing the candidate that will fly the flag of the PDP in the Edo 2016 gubernatorial poll. In this 21st century??? Are you for real?? Where are you guys from? It is sickening and maddening!
Edo State has not even begun to recover from the whims and caprices of the most rugged governor in it’s most revered history and all some can think of is replacing the Dragon and Dark Lord Adams with another Draconian leader? For God sake we do not want another Lucky in Edo State. Lucky destroyed the reputation of PDP in this state and we do not want his type again! Also We do not want another Adams in Edo state. Why should we keep leaving the affairs of the state for people without credibility?
I will not keep quiet again. When a wise man keeps quiet for too long he will end up suffering the rule of fools. He who keeps quiet in the face of impropriety is a part of such an impropriety.The PDP MUST field, i repeat, MUST field a sound leader with a sane mind, a credible leader, a leader with a honourable reputation and integrity. a leader loved by the masses of the state. Enough of hooligans in government!
why have those in the PDP looking for rugged aspirants today, not asked why that ‘ruggedity’ could not win them the House of Assembly elections? GEJ won Edo State fair and square due to the people’s love for him which was hinged on his credibility and integrity. If anyone in the PDP says it was money or ‘ruggedity’ it is a blatant lie from the pit of hell. APC had just enough ‘ruggedity’ and money to have matched the PDP if that was the case.
Who can beat Adams in ruggedity, most especially now that he has federal might behind him? it is only when the PDP produces a candidate with integrity and credibility that they can have a chance to win the elections in which case they will have the electorates behind them. That was what brought Adams to power in the first place, the electorates, not ‘ruggedity’, not hooliganism.
ENOUGH OF ALL THESE SHIT I HEAR FROM SOME PDP MEMBERS
I have been a Jonathanian and no one forced me to become one. I support the PDP cause, because i believe in them producing a credible candidate. It will be a crime against my children and posterity if at my youthful age i start talking about loyalty to a party. My loyalty rests on integrity and credibility. If the PDP misses it this time and field a candidate with a negative image among the populace, i will be the first to launch a one man campaign squad against the party. I stick with candidacy not party, candidates first, party is only secondary.
However, i believe the PDP has learned their lessons and would tread rightly and wisely this time. I believe the party leaders and delegates will not listen to the voice of fools but the voice of truth. I would rather spend my time doing issues based campaign for a candidate rather than involving myself in image laundering or damage control for any candidate.
ON INTEGRITY AND CREDIBILITY I STAND!!!
